Penned by emigre New Yorker Howard Schuman, Rock Follies brought the style of 1930s American musicals and a touch of Weimar decadence to the Seventies rock scene, casting a satirical eye on an often sordid world where burned-out Sixties idealism has given way to a commercialism that often crosses the line into exploitation.

Making stars of Julie Covington, Rula Lenska and Charlotte Cornwell and featuring original music by Roxy Music's Andy McKay this fantastically popular series has only been previously available commercially in an edited format. This release includes all twelve episodes complete and uncut.
